PMU Lips

What is PMU Lips?

PMU stands for Permanent Makeup or Micropigmentation. It is a cosmetic technique that involves depositing pigments into the skin to enhance certain facial features, such as eyebrows, eyeliner, and lips. Specifically, PMU can be used for the lips to achieve the following effects:

PMU Lip Liner

PMU can be used to create a permanent lip liner, which defines the shape of the lips and enhances their natural contours. This is especially helpful for people who have uneven or thin lip borders.

PMU Lip Color

PMU can add a natural or more intense color to the lips, giving them a subtle tint or a bolder hue. This is beneficial for individuals who want to have a consistent lip color without needing to apply lipstick every day.

PMU Lip Blush

Lip blush is a technique where the PMU artist creates a gradient effect on the lips, with a softer color at the center and a slightly darker shade towards the edges. This can give the lips a natural, flushed appearance.

PMU Lip Correction Asymmetry

PMU can help correct uneven or asymmetrical lips by carefully adding pigments to balance out the shape and size.

Scarring or Discoloration Camouflage

If someone has scars or discoloration on their lips, PMU can be used to camouflage these imperfections, creating a more uniform and aesthetically pleasing appearance.

PMU Lip Enhancement

PMU can make the lips appear fuller and plumper by creating an illusion of volume. This is achieved by enhancing the lip borders and carefully shading the lip tissue.

Time Saving – No More Makeup!

One of the main benefits of PMU for lips is that it saves time in daily makeup application. People who opt for PMU don’t need to spend as much time applying lip liner and lipstick, as the color and definition are already in place.

It’s important to note that PMU is a permanent procedure, so careful consideration and consultation with a qualified and experienced PMU artist are essential before deciding to undergo the treatment. The color and shape should be discussed thoroughly to ensure that the final result aligns with your preferences and enhances your natural features.

The aim of permanent makeup is to provide a natural, subtle enhancement that can save the wearer time and effort in their daily beauty routine. PMU is provided by  trained cosmetic artist, Vigilé.
